Hello new comers, welcome to Corvallis and become part of Oregon State University.   

俄勒冈州立大学（Oregon State University）简称OSU，始于1858年的Corvallis College，1961年正式更名为俄勒冈州立大学。作为全美被同时授予农业、海洋、空间和太阳四项认可的仅仅两座高等学府之一，俄勒冈州立大学不但获得美国西北部大专院校的学术鉴定，其工程、商业、化学、药剂学、动物医学、辅导学、教育等等课程也分别获得美国各专业学术机构的肯定。


Oregon State University is a coeducational, public research university located in Corvallis, Oregon, United States. The university offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees and a multitude of research opportunities. As of 2008, OSU is one of only sevety-three land-grandt universities. The school is also recognized as sea-grant, space-grant, and sun-grant institution, making it one of only two US institutions to retain all four designations and the only public university to do so.
