Hi All,

The rooms we have to rent are in our quiet home, 10 blocks from campus, about 3 blocks from Fred Meyer’s and one block from a bus stop.  The rooms are furnished.  
We are currently a family of 2-Plus, a married couple with a son and daughter in college who visit on school holidays.  We are looking for 2 female graduate students, perhaps foreign students who would like an opportunity to practice their English, or a female horticulture grad who would appreciate organic growing space for her own gardening.  We’d love to have you join us occasionally for shared meals and good conversation...when you have time!  

In our large back yard we have many fruit trees and bushes, a number of raised garden beds and two small greenhouses.  We’d be delighted to make space for you to do a little gardening.  We also have a very friendly Golden Doodle dog, two cats, and a few chickens.  (Sorry, no room for more pets!)  

Ours is a non-smoking household.  We are looking for housemates who do not use recreational drugs; while we don’t use alcohol, occasional social drinking is okay with us.  Note, we are sensitive to synthetic perfumes and maintain a largely scent-free home.  

Features include: Washer/Dryer, wood stove, wireless internet, wood floors, covered patio, access to garden space, shared refrigerator and kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, purified water for cooking/drinking.

Total price for two rooms: $400/month + $60 for utilities.  $100 refundable cleaning deposit. One-year lease to start.
