Hi,

I'm looking for non-eecs majors to participate in a 2-hour study to be
conducted on the OSU campus (See Recruitment Message for details). During
this time, participants will be introduced to a software tool and will be
asked to use the tool to perform a couple web browsing tasks.

Recruitment announcement

Receive a compensation of *$20*, by participating in a research study!

We are looking for students outside of EECS to participate in a study about
interactive scripts called “End Users Designing Interactive Applications”.
The study is led by Professor Margaret Burnett, and is being conducted by
student and faculty researchers in Computer Science at OSU.

The experiment will be conducted on campus at a time convenient to you.  The
time commitment requested is about 2 hours.

Potential benefits include having a glimpse at a new environment for
creating interactive scripts and maybe even helping shape the way such
systems may be in the future.  There are no foreseeable risks to you as a
participant in this project.  You will create an interactive script, which
you can keep for later use. Your participation is completely voluntary.  Your
choice about whether or not to participate in the study will not affect
your relationship with any of the research team members.  You will be
compensated $20 for your participation.
