Dear all,

New school year is coming. Hope this short hiking could be a refreshment
for you. Anyone is invited. We will have a picnic on the top of Bald Hill.
Please bring your own lunch, we will prepare some snacks and beverages. (If
you would like to join, it is good to send me an email so we could know the
number of people to prepare for.)

Here is a tentative plan.

Place: Bald Hill Natural Area, Corvallis
Start time: 10:00am on Saturday Sep 15.

Tentative schedule:
               10:00am: meet at the parking of First Baptist Church
(125 Northwest 10th Street, Corvallis - located at the cross of 9th Street
and Monroe Ave)
               10:20am: arrive at the parking of Bald Hill
10:20am  - 11:15am: hiking up at Bald hill
11:15am - 12:15pm: lunch
12:15am - 12:45pm: hiking down at Bald hill

You are not necessary to have a car, we could give you a ride from First
Baptist Church to the hiking place. If you have any questions, please let
me know.
Parking of Bald Hill: Parking place is behind the gate of Oak Creek Dr. and
marked with red star on the attached map. The hiking route is marked with
red dots, and the summit with red cross.

Some information of the trail:
The Bald Hill is on the west side of the town (about 10 minutes drive from
First Baptist Church).
The elevation gain is 700 feet. The trail will be easy for most of us.
Please prepare the sunscreen and items to keep away bugs.
