Hi, All:
            I'm Hu Changhui, a new PHD student in EE. I arrived OSU on Oct 2nd 2007, so missed the orientation and don't know many people.
            Hope to take a rest and get to know more friends during spring break.
            I think driving for travel is really interesting and challenging.

            Here's my plan:
1. People: 10 people(prefer 5 guys and 5 girls), including 4 drivers, two cars
** I can be a driver, driving both manual and auto, with driving experience in CA, San Francisco and snow area.

2. Itinerary:
Feb 22nd: 7am Set off
               7am~10:30am   Corvallis to Medford(211 miles)
               10:30am~11am 30 minutes break
               11am~ 1:30pm  Medford to Redding(148 miles)
               1:30pm~2:30pm  Lunch in Redding
               2:30pm~5pm      Redding to Sacramento(Capital of CA)(162 miles)
               Dinner in Sacramento(or San Francisco, it depends on people
               ** Sacramento to San Francisco(87 miles, 1 hour and 30 minutes drive)

Feb 23rd: 8am set off
               7am ~12:30pm Sacramento to Los Angeles(384 miles) may have 30 minutes break
               1pm ~6pm    Hollywood, Universal Studios, Disneyland
               ** one more day for Disneyland and San Diego(120 miles away from LA, 2 hours drive)

Feb 24th:  8am set off
               8am~12pm Los Angeles to Las Vegas(270 miles)

Feb 25th: Las Vegas

Feb 26th: 8am~2pm Las Vegas~Santa Maria(Pismo Beach) (400 miles) Break on the way
               2pm~5pm Relax on the beach
               5pm~9pm  Santa Maria to SF (264 miles)
               
               
Feb 27th:  Back to Corvallis along road 101(the most beautiful road along west coast of US)600 miles(11 hours)
               ** Or along I5, 573 miles(9 hours)

3. Expense:
total trip: 2600 miles,  gas will be about 300/car, accommodation 4 nights(30 dollars/night), ticket
** I can drive my car(New Car 2007), and people share the gas, 300/4+120+100=300
We can also rent a car, rental(35dollars/day)+insurance(15 dollars/day)=50/day, 50x6/5+300/5+120+100=340
