ISOSU has some open committee position available right now. if you are

Dear All,



We are re-sending you the list of important committees ISOSU would like to
have ambassadors to participate in. Please send me back your name and email
address in the column of the committees you would like to sit in.


*1) Student Incidental Fees Committee (SIFC)***
*This is a student led committee that annually approves and recommends
*students
fees* budget to be approved by the ASOSU senate.

*2) Board of Recreational Sports**
*This committee advises the Director of Recreational Sports in establishing
and administering policies and procedures of the facilities, reviews *operation
and use of all facilities*, formulates budgets and long range plans for
student fee funded Recreational Sports programs and facilities.



*3) MU Advising Board**
*This committee advises the Memorial Union in establishing and administering
*policies and procedures of the facilities, reviews operation and use of all
facilities*, formulates budgets and long range plans for student fee funded
Memorial Union programs and facilities.

*4) Student Health Advisory Board (SHAB)**
*Evaluates the budget proposed by Student Health Services (SHS) and
recommends an annual budget to the SHS Director; reviews past SHS budget;
evaluates and recommends changes in services provided by SHS; coordinates
and reviews the ASOSU Health Care policy offered for
students

*5) University Housing Committee**
*Advices the Director of Student Housing in the *development of housing
facilities* and programs to meet the needs and interests of students.



*6) Appropriations and Budgets Committee (A&B Committee) **
*Researches and makes recommendations on funding requests brought to the
ASOSU Senate and address requests from groups needing *funds for development
of specific programs* and or promotions of events that would positively
affect OSU students.


*7) Educational Activities Committee (Ed-Act) ***
*Reviews and recommends to the ASOSU Senate, actions on *budget and special
requests for funds* used for educational activities. This committee requires
a large time commitment and can be taken for class credit.



* 8) International Resource Center and International Welcome Center
Committee *
* Plans and promotes the International Resource Center,
International Welcome Center.

*9) Counseling Services Advisory Board*

Plans and promotes counseling services for OSU students and faculty members.


Please let us know which committee you are interested in participation as
an ISOSU Ambassadors.
